hello everyone, I am one of the latest players that joined the community and I am glad that games like this exist, sincerely receive my congratulations for it. Also I was lucky to receive a beta key on my first day in the game, I guess it was destiny. xP

Well, first of all, I have had a fast view over the other topics, and see people have proposed lots of stuff to add, so I will just list some interesting stuff I think that could help the game to earn money as well as stuff I would like as a player that have played hundreds of online and offline games since 90's side scrolling games.

Once the hardest part is surpassed, and I am refering to the community, that is slowly growing, and will probably explode when the game is greelighted (crosses fingers) and put on the main page of steam where 6 millions people will see it, then we will see a jump in numbers online. About the wish list for this game, well, let´s just begin:

1. "I would say different main chars are necessary". If the game were offline with mitsu would be more than enough, but when we are talking about an online game, people in these days like to customize, thing that this game has brought far in level edition, which is great. But some people will like to have a personalized avatar, so we got 2 options I can see, each of them with its pros and cons. In the left hand we got, the kryll team designs a group of characters apart from mitsu (I would recommend some female, some male). on the right hand, kryll team could leave an option to players to create their own custom characters and upload them to the community to be approved, if the character is approved can be updated to the game for a cost obviously, this second method is obviously the one I like the most, but yeah, I am a professional 3D designer and I could follow the art style of the game and blablabla, but not everyone got the skills to mod content, so it´s important to be clear that this is a feature for a group of ppl that would help the game to have more variety, not every created character will be cute, but you will get surely some very nice designs, examples of games that do this?, check out "get amped 2".

2. "custom NPC characters". Almost the same options that in the first one, in this case I see more important the option to give freedom to the players to create their NPCs, for example you want a furry in your story to talk with mitsu, you could design it and set it in the scenario. designing them could last hours? indeed, it could, specially if you gotta draw the expressions for the dialogs. Risks of this?, yes, there is always someone that love to do stupid things like drawing a talking c*** or any sexual stuff you could imagine, but that's why I added the community and the fact that stuff must be approved by the community with votes.

3. "an in-game shop". Another option to sell stuff is an in-game shop, you could sell tickets to make possible to customize your character or NPCs as explained in points 1 and 2. Could also include clothes for the character, etc. What I wouldn't sell are tickets to create new levels, because then free players will run away lol.

4. "secret passages for level editor". This is something that would be cool to see, I remember a very old game called keen commander, a 2d side scrolling game that used to have secret passages in fake walls, you can see it as a normal wall but you can walk behind it losing sight of your character as you are inside, this could lead to some tricky levels of course, but well, let's say the player decides to hide from sight one shuriken on porpuse, it´s completely valid. Then someone will ask, Could I hide the shrineee or an important NPC?, yes, in that case you could, but I wouldn´t recommend it if you want your level to have some + reviews. xD

5. "Private chat and buddy list". This will have to be added at certain point if everything goes fine.

6. "voices for characters". Could be a good option to have skills with voices if the point 1 would be developed.

7. "customizable scenarios". You guys mentioned in some post about some other biomes to come in the future so i wouldn´t be too worried about this point for now. Also to design full scenarios and all their pieces it's a lot worse than designing just a character, it includes a lot of factors that would be complex to control as illumination, colors, collition detection etc. (could be a mess lol)

Well, that's all for now, if I get more ideas I will post them in the future. Remember that all the stuff I am posting here are only possibilities and are organized by priority. Greetings! :)

Thanks for the well thought post Raka.
Many of your suggestions are already planned for the future ("great minds think alike" ;))

So lets go over them -

About 1 and 2, you would be happy to know that Mitsu is not the only player class we plan. We already have detailed plans about our next class, which will bring it's own lore, NPCs, Biome and world.
Unlike a 'skin' this new character will play in a completely different way then Mitsu, and will have it's own abilities and gameplay.

The in-game shop is indeed coming very soon, however at first it will concentrate about player items which will help players complete and perfect problematic areas. We definitely plan on building on it later on and enhancing it with more types of features - some may even be player customizations.

The secret passages is a feature that was already suggested by the community, and while it has a lower priority then others, it will definitely bring more magic into the game.

The private chat already exist (you can /msg NICKNAME MSG anyone, and they can reply with /r from that moment on);
The buddy list is also planned for a later date, for the time being you can emulate it by opening a chat room with all your buddies, and you will all see who comes online and can talk to each other easily.

Voices are somewhat difficult (due to several reasons), and might not fit the game as a whole - also having NPCs talk via text gives much more personality and freedom to the creators to create whatever persona they wish.

Players already create a lot of scenarios and use the existing 'building blocks' in ingenious ways - we always add more variety and functionality to the editor (much of it based on ideas coming from the community!) so you need not worry about it.

Beyond other classes, I think it would be cool to have direct skins that just change your look- this way, it would be much cooler to see a "ghost" of another player in the same level!
And with that new class you have in mind- might co-op levels be a possibility? Say, you enter the world and see where some one needs a buddy to play a level and you, rather than travel through the world, which currently would be rather tedious, play the levels/ maybe connected level set together?

Feeling on secret passages- Rather than have direct secret passages, why not have the ability to add a external paint coat to levels, so that you can use it just as decor or as an overlay to create a secret passage? This would also make it easier to create indoors areas or hidden mechanisms!

The "over paint" is a good idea, we have been toying with it for a while now - it can really add a lot of flair to Kryll, be it indoor areas, caves, or secrets.

It is still being discussed how it will behave/implamented.
