The pickup rush item is not limited in time unless you set it to be, and the number of items participating in the 'Rush' are unlimited (Just need to set all their respawn colors to the same color of the rush).

And yes, the 'all_pickups' trigger probably sounds a bit misleading now, however since it was added a long time ago and potentially many areas already use that functionality, we prefer to keep it as it is now (Sorry for the confusion).
Aside from the all_pickups trigger there are no other predefined triggers in the game.

I figured a better and cheaper concept of an ON/OFF button

Press the button and release to activate the SET logic gate to trigger whatever door/platform you want (on SET option)
If the button is pressed once more or for a longer period, the pine door (on SET option) opens letting the already moving platform (on START option) destroy the barrel and stop the green platform.
Respawn will reboot the system

PS: Maybe lowering the pine gate can help to avoid switching it OFF by mistake

The NOTs Loop

Just create two NOT logic gates constantly deactivate one another

Even if this could seem useless the latest "power up" trick I used in 62e3 is made out of this.
The first time Densch explain it to me it seems just a flashy and noisy way to keep spikes activating/deactivating. But I soon discovered that I could slow that rapid process putting OR gates between the 2 NOTs

But it can be used to craft other and even a bit more conflicate effects:
a wave of spikes in 71w3 (the last pic above)
the phasing through matter in 28w12
flame flickering in 28w13
slow mo platforms in 30w8 (first time you pass the rite of passage)
an anti missiles force field in 13w12

And this are just the ideas I had with it
