I've posted this on steam in March, but as there never was a reaction:

Unfortunately, some of the steam achievements do not work anymore after playing the demo. I completed the conditions for "Barrier Smasher" and "The plot thickens" already in the demo (which has no achievements). After then buying the game, they are broken. I did not get them upon purchase, and even replaying the respective levels does not unlock them anymore.

Problematique, who partly played the game in the browser version (instead of on steam) seems to have similar issues with the trophies (not) unlocked in browser.

EDIT: Also add "Perfectionist" to the list of broken achievements. Just perfected all 10, but got no achievement. Probably once again because some of those perfects happenmed in the demo and are not considered correctly.

I guess the devs said the achievements would be correctly uploaded when upgrading so it must be that something's broken on the server side. Haven't been the devs around in a while, though :(.

I have every achievement except Perfectionist on Steam, but I've perfected every Tale.

So you have "Barrier Smasher" and "The plot thickens", Eevee? Have you played the respective tales in the demo, in browser or in the final game?
As you however have the same situation as me for Perfectionist, I guess you played at least one of the tales not within the steam main game...
It sucks that even replaying does not give you the achievement. :(

I've always used the Steam version, since the beginning. I have 34 achievements, all except Perfectionist.

And never the demo, but always the full game? Then this one has even more bugs than the others!?! =_=
I have all but the three mentioned ones. (And should have all.)

Same problem here, I also only received Completionist after perfecting 6.
The bug stems from perfecting the levels before the achievements were released. In my case I only perfected 1 Tale prior to the Achievement patch.
An easy fix would be to have an item only obtainable once perfecting all tales then having the achievement rewarded for the item.

I think there is a steam side problem, but my number of perfected games have not incremented by one after this change.

It's indeed gone! o_o
But that doesn't change that I still can't get "Barrier Smasher" and "The plot thickens".
PLEASE make those obtainable upon replay, not just upon first play!
