16/08/13 For a player(-only), 10 gold for giving Fame per person seems quite a lot, hm... Lemme calculate. You've gotten 75 Fame by this point, multiplied by ten....... 750 gold ONLY?!? D: Comparison: If you're lvl 10 & doing your daily (eventually as more maps are created) bit, 15g x4 (map clearances) + 160g (exploration bonus) = 220g Fame gold gain ought to be improved, even I feel a bit wrong here just for playing, minus karma to me. 10 gee just won't make it compared to daily & the effort put into maps (AKA your babies)... |

16/08/13 PS. I don't know what'd be a fair amount of gold, as I've only bought a couple things in the editor, having plenty of gold currently. People have spoken about one trigger costing 500g & back then, I didn't quite realise how serious of a cost it was (or is). Doubling the Fame gold gain? |

17/08/13 True, today the world is very small (especially for the players who was at it since the beginning of the alpha) but once it breaks the 'barrier' of at least 4-5 new areas per day, which qualifies for the daily exploration bonus, it is difficult to guess how the economy will behave... Also, the fame to gold ratio is definitely not final - and the entire system (will it remain linear or not) is also in question; Fame could easily become the #1 source of income (imagine a hundred players going through your area - if at least half of them give you fame, you will gain more fame then the highest priced area). Another consideration is that gold is only a means to an end - it is the force the drives creators to actually play other areas, and in the future will also drive players to play in order to get player-centric features. |

31/08/13 I run into this problem all the time to the point that I don't want to run out of levels to get gold and just play a level then wait a day for the bonus, and it is a pretty big problem but it should be fixed as more players start to play and its only a matter of time before tons of people are creating maps, playing levels and giving more fame to the creators so it should all fix itself |
